Description: PCGS 1972-D Eisenhower dollar rotated double-struck in-collar. The coin was struck twice, with first strike normal, and then a 2nd strike rotated 30 degrees and also in-collar. There are strong design elements from the underlying 1st strike, and the coin has good eye-appeal as a double-strike.A rare error type on Ike dollars, with very few known. Uncirculated details with environmental damage--there are some spots on the reverse. Also, there is some grease or debris on the obverse (the grease-like substance is not damage, but noted for accuracy.) There are also some counting wheel marks on the coin.
