The F-5 Bighorn 350, intro-duced in 1970, was just about the trickiestthing on two wheels when it came to combi-nation boondockers. But Kawasaki, in theirhaste to scoop the rest of the field, foundthemselves in troubled waters. The earlymodels suffered a variety of defects that arepast, painful history to the manufacturerand dealer network alike. With a vast aircraft-oriented manufactur-ing concern like Big K churning ahead, thissort of setback was dealt with in recordspeed.
