This part is a two year only part that is correct for all Pontiac models with V8 engine including, but not limited to, Trans Am, GTO, Bonneville, Catalina and Grand Prix. We believe that the cars came from the factory with an aluminum housing and that the cast steel was a service part available back when the cars were relatively new. Yes, there are reproductions out there, but they don't face the right direction, often causing hose binding and overheating as a result.
