Description: 1971 1972 Plymouth CricketAM Radio (Hitachi TM-403HCR) AM radio part / model numbers HITACHI TM-403HCR Integrated Circuit on the housing's sticker. It was removed from a Canadian '71-'73 Cricket parts car decades ago and kept in heated storage since (in '71 and '72, the Canadian Cricket was equivalent to the Hillman Avenger in the UK). The unit has been cleaned and the radio bench tested by the mechanic I use to refurbish electrical parts for my personal restoration projects. It works as it should, powering up, tuning and picking up stations when hooked up to his test antenna and speaker. Buttons and face have nice appearance with good black coloring. The volume knob is missing. Tuning knob is here and looks good. Both chrome escutcheons are here, and they look nice.Including 3 wires and the antenna plug as shown.
