Description: 1970s Mid Century MCM Hanging PENDANT Swag LIGHT Round ORB w/CRACKED ICE Globe ! Here is a very nice looking clean hanging pendant light from the 1970s. The cast metal gold tone collar has a model number EKO1040 and a 1975 date on the inside. Globe is a frosted crackle cracked ice looking camphor like glass. Glass globe measures about 8 inches in diameter, overall length with metal fitter is about 13 inches. Has a long swag chain and cord with a small inline dial rotary switch, looks original to the piece. Swag chain and cord is at least 12 or more feet, pretty long. The low wattage bulb used during testing will be included but can't guarantee it will arrive intact. No damage at all, very fine looking finish on the cast metal fixture, no breaks at all to this somewhat delicate pot metal type casting. Absolutely great overall condition and in complete working order, one small chip on fitter end which is not visible when fixture is in place, very clean too, the actual light socket should really be replaced for safety as it has some outer housing damage and the inside metal side contacts have been crudely fixed, however the electrical connection is still really quite good and solid, outlet plug in good usable condition and I had no hesitation in plugging it in for testing - please see all photos - THANKS !!! Obviously, these lamps are not antiques, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 60’s and 70’s.
