The original base has been refinished in the correct low-gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in very good condition featuring a straight carburetor flange retaining both alignment tangs. The alignment bar is excellent as well and still maintains the braised fitting evidence. The exterior seal flange features typical factory stamping waves, as well as the breather filter nipple on the passenger side. The factory drains show signs of braising as well. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been atted as a further measure of authenticity.The original lid is nice as well and is garnished with a Mopar Licensed air cleaner service decal. The inside has a "Made in Canada" stamp to further the level of authenticity. The top is installed with a period correct wing nut. To complete the assembly, an NOS original Fram CA305V high performance perforated air filter is included to make the assembly ready to install and show quality. This assembly is in very nice condition and will enhance your restoration.
