Description: I am going to be listing several Mayer China dinner plates that I was told came out of an estate of a person who had worked in a mgmt./sale position with Mayer but there is no way I can verify that but just throwing out what I was told.Many of the plates have a pattern or something I do not know what they were called. I will describe best I can. There is 1 plate designed especially for a company, 1 plate as a personal Mayer award plate which would probably be 1 of a kind and even 2 plates that were sample plates that were even marked return to the factory. Whether these were ever produced or just a trial pattern I do not know.I am listing all on auction formats and if anyone would desire several plates and won them just wait till all the plates cycle off and I will send an invoice with combined shipping. This 1969 plate is done in a black with gold trim and a gold center design although not sure what it represents.Measures 10 1/4" and in great condition with no chips, cracks or damages but possibly some gold trim loss or slight discoloration and sign of use.
