Description: what we're listing is a "sonny's motorcycle repair kick starter repair" kit for your 1969 thru early 1972 Aermacchi Harley Davidson Sprint SS350 & SX350 motorcycle. harley davidson introduced the 350cc sprint in 1969. the early kickstarter assemblies had an ill fated design right out of the gate. eventually they introduced an updated kick start assembly at some point in 1972. the earlier starter clamp goes onto the splined shaft and the kicker arm is attached by a combination pinch bolt / pivot pin. with normal wear & tear the pinch bolt would loosen because it was doing two jobs. eventually the kick starter clamp would become loose and strip the spline THE SECOND thing we've seen happen is the pinch bolt/ pivot pin would stretch & crack. eventually you'll go to stand on the kicker arm with the weight and force of your body would force the kicker down at an inertia rate that could cause bodily injury.
