Description: You are bidding on a used original piece of trim. It is for all 1969-1970 Mercury Cougars including standard, XR-7, Sports Special and 1969 Eliminator. It is not used as is on a 1970 Eliminator. It is the center emblem for the gas door. The chrome is decent with some light scratches and small pit marks. The clear plastic over the emblem is missing. Both mounting studs have been ground off. You will either need to glue it back in place or drill and tap the remaining stubs of the original mounting pins to bolt it in place. This would be good for a daily driver, a survivor or perhaps a Sunday cruiser. Or restore it for show. Please view the photos for condition.
