Description: The program is in excellent condition with only light wear. The lineup is heavily creased. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program and lineup. The 1968 Carolina 500 was held at North Carolina Motor Speedway on June 16th. The 23rd race of the season had 40,000 fans in attendance to watch LeeRoy Yarbrough lead the field of 44 to the green flag. The 500 lap race and 95 weather made for a difficult day as only 14 cars would finish the race. Donnie Allison, driving the #27 Banjo Matthews Ford, would win his first career Grand National race, by two laps over his brother, Bobby. Finishing third was James Hylton, followed by Richard Brickhouse and Roy Tyner, who was 31 laps behind Donnie. Please review the other racing items I have listed. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
