He was one of the pre-eminent photographers of American folk, blues, jazz and rock musicians of the 1960s and beyond. With a Distinguished and informed sensibility of art history and deceptively candid style, David Gahr's photography captured the essential poetry and soul of the artists and their music. Gahr became out of the most sought-after photographers in the music industry. Inbetween photographing artists, he also took images while strolling the city. I will be sharing some of his captures of the city's people, buildings, and neighborhoods.
