Description: Handsome fold-out 1967 official state highway map of Nevada, printed more than 55 years ago. The map opens to 32" x 18" and has great detail on old road alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally. There are inset plans of Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, and a map on the reverse side shows some of Nevada's early historical trails, old mining camps, and ghost towns. This map was distributed by the Nevada Department of Highways, Carson City, in 1967 and is dated on the cover. The photograph on the front cover shows desert flowers among the Joshua trees in Clark County. On the back cover there's a photo of Hereford cattle grazing in a field in Carson Valley, Douglas County. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
