1966 Hermes 3000 Typewriter Techno Elite Font! Exceptional Condition! New Platen

Description: 1966 Hermes 3000 Portable Typewriter. Techno Elite typeface - 12 CPI. Type slugs are imprinted with “S TE”. Includes original Hermes 3000 instruction booklet, both original Hermes cleaning brushes. The platen rubber is new (JJ Short Co.) The rubber foot pads are also new. It is in Excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic condition (see photos)! The only blemish is the paper arm has some corrosion (see photos). The case is the deluxe version and is in very good condition, all latches work as they should. Includes the original case key. The ribbon spools are vintage metal Royal spools. Typewriter has been meticulously cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. It is super clean, and I would guess that everything operates as smooth as it did when it was born. New black/red ribbon installed. All operations have been tested and are in excellent order. This is an exceptional machine (near Mint condition), excellent operating, and a beautiful typing machine ready to display and use for many years to come. I have refurbished many typewriters over the years and take great care to bring great typewriters back to ready to use working condition. I carefully pack each typewriter.
