Description: Handsome fold-out 1966 American Oil Company road map of Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, printed more than 58 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 25½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by Diversified. Long stretches of I-70 were still under construction. Colorado is on one side; Nevada and Utah are on the other, with an inset of southern Nevada, including Boulder City and Alunite. The map was distributed by American in 1966 and is dated in the legend. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with a wee bit of wear on the fold corners and no rips, tears, or writing.
