They are attached to the vehicle where the roof line meets the quarter panel area. They were used when a vinyl top was on the car or the car had a two tone paint scheme for the purpose of dividing the line at this point. Condition: The condition of the body moldings is original, not reproduction. While these pieces are factory aluminum they have been chrome plated by a professional plating service to preserve the outstanding shine when aluminum was new from the factory. They truly are "Show Quality" condition. There is no need to worry that the aluminum will oxidize like originals. The buyer will not have to absorb additional expenses to have these pieces restored as that has already been completed. Ready to install and ready to shine like new money! Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over fifty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker!
