New York's Shea Stadium is going to get a roof, a $9 million glass dome that will top Houston's Astrodome because it will be glare proof and bigger. The announcement of the plans for turning the stadium into an all-weather sports arena was made today by city sports commissioner Ben Ginney. Engineering plans will take from 60 to 80 days to get city approval and completion of the dome is hoped for by the start of the 1967 baseball season. This is an artist's conception.
