Description: This is the ultimate in a cool 1965 Jazz Bass w/a custom color in its final era of the Leo built Pre-CBS production. Its stunning see-thru Blonde finish is over an a very grainy “Ash” body. She has a stamped neck date of May 1965 still sporting its original logo making it 1 of the last w/an “Unbound” pearl dot inlaid Rosewood neck. By January ’66 all necks were White Bound from that day forward as all CBS production traits took over from that point in time on. Its original Tortoise pickgard pulls this all together. Its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jaco” sound !, its pot date codes are from the 12th week of 1965. It’s so cool from its nickel tuners to its threaded saddle bridge. This Jazz Bass has a gorgeous appearence for a near 60 year old original, it plays & feels incredible. It’s exceptional overall & comes complete in its nice original Black Hard Case.
