These saxes were only made from 1962-1963 so they're hard to come by these days. Ours has the original lacquer and has been fully and professionally serviced, so it's in good overall condition. It plays wonderfully, the tone is powerful, dark and complex, it projects wonderfully. It has nice pad closure, the keys are smooth and responsive. There's a good amount of red oxidation, and some light scratches, the case is also cracked on the back.
