Description: This listing is for a mega rare never-seen 1/1 1962 Topps Color Negative of Original New York Met Ray Daviault obtained directly from the Topps Vault. The image was one of several taken of Daviault to be chosen for his 1962 Topps Baseball card and no images were used as he never had a Topps card produced. Daviault appeared in 36 total career games in 1962. He passed away in 2020 and was a great TTM signer though he lived in Canada. The 1/1 color negative was encased at the Topps factory from the Topps archives and sealed with a Topps tamper-proof sticker. The negative comes with a large 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Certificate of Authenticity. The early Topps Vault offerings did not have holographic serially-numbered stickers (please see scans). A MUST for rare Ray Daviault and hardcore 1962 Mets fans and for MLB sports card history buffs. Would make a great holiday gift for the collector on your list. Additional photos by request.
