She was the first woman to hold that position and the second woman to head a U.S. Mint facility. She is buried at Arlington Cemetery and you can find her at FindAGrave (1893 - 1984).Original packaging is yours upon purchase: Each coin was sealed in its own compartment between two sheets of flat pliofilm. An octagonal, foil seal imprinted with "US MINT PHILADELPHIA" was placed in a sixth compartment, and the flat pack was then inserted into a mailing envelope with a card. This set's pliofilm is in perfect condition, no damage, no openings. Coins also are "ordinary" with no double die, etc. Stored since purchase in a non-smoking environment.
