He literally wrote the book (Baseball Address List). Smalling recently sold his personal collection which he started in the 1960s through Heritage Auction House of Dallas Texas. I was the lucky winner. Since I am primarily a collector, I am keeping the autographs I need for myself but this still leaves over 12,000 duplicates that I do not need. I will be breaking up large portions of it and selling it through ebay and other venues over the next several months. This is probably the greatest single baseball autograph collection ever to have been sold and you will have a chance to own part of history. I have been an avid baseball autograph collector since 1985 and have amassed many duplicates over the years, I have decided to part with some of them to clear our space for new acquisitions.
