Description: Vintage 8mm Film 1960's Christmas Home Movie Baker, LA Rare and vintage home video footage of a family that resided in Baker, Louisiana of East Baton Rouge Parish during the early 1960's. Recording dates are from 1962 - 1964. This 8mm film was purchased at an estate sale. A photo of the original owner, Mr. Parsons, is included in the pics above. Mr. Parsons and his family lived on Wedgewood Drive in Baker. Photos of the home are also posted in the listing pics above with Christmas decorations. This footage was recorded in December 1963. (See pics above). Duration of the film is about 40 to 45 minutes and it contains lots of scenes from holiday family gatherings, a road trip and footage of buildings which I'm assuming are (or once) was located in the city of Baker. About halfway into the film, there's a short 2-3 second clip of what appears to be Downtown Baker or the downtown area of another small town. The film also contains video of several children playing outside (riding bicycles and on playground equipment). Another short clip towards the end of the film shows two children exiting a school bus and walking home on a dirt road in a rural area. Some of these children may still be living today! **This film has been tested on a Wolverine Moviemaker Pro digital converter and is in great working condition!**
