1960s SON OF GARLOO Wind-Up Tin Toy by MARX Rare! #3

Description: This listing is for a vintage SON OF GARLOO tin toy made by Marx Toys in 1963. This is the wind up version of the iconic big battery toy. It measures 5 inches tall and made with a tin walking mechanism, plastic upper body, and ON/OFF switch in rear. The toy is very nice looking with light wear, mostly to the rear. Still works, but walks hesitantly. I think because of the ON/OFF switch, which you have to giggle a bit. Comes with a custom box which has a hinged lid featuring the same photo graphics as the original, great for display or storage. Rare to find this toy in such nice condition!
