Description: 1960's Peter Max Psychedelic Pop Art Glass Octagon Hippie Psych Plate Iconic 1960's signed Peter Max bent glass plate in bright multi-colored enameled psychedelic hues of soft yellow, green, pink, purple, orange and black. Houze Glass produced these plates for Peter Max by screening the enameled imaged and bending the glass themselves. The back of the glass plate is black. This unique plate measures approx. 9-1/2" in diameter x 1/4" high. Unique art glass plates for Peter Max by Houze Glass are usually kept in private collections and are showcased in the West Virginia Museum of American Glass. We are honored to have this plate in our shop. CONDITION: The plate is not perfect given age and glass fragility. There are few small fleabites and one 8mm x 6mm corner chip on the back (not noticeable from front). The front itself is nearly perfect, there is a thin factory color smudge (not the scratch), please see photos. Please ask any questions you may have. Stand is not sold. Will be carefully packed and mailed with insurance and tracking confirmation
