Description: I bought this used guitar thinking I would like to learn to play, but it is not going to happen. Time to find it a new home. Very nice vintage condition. The guitar comes with its original carrying case, Mel Bay's Fun With The Guitar book, *TrueFire Presents Learn Guitar 1 First Steps for Beginners DVD, and bottle of Dunlop Formular No. 5 Guitar Polish & Cleaner. *I am not sure if the DVD will be helpful. It is for computer use only and many computers no longer have the CD/DVD slot. But I am including it with hopes it is still usable and still compatible with Windows, etc. (Please see the pictures for details stated on the cover.) I took it a local guitar shop on 10/24/2024, as one string needed replaced. The man tuned it/strummed it, said it was a nice guitar for its age and also stated, "having the original case makes it more valuable." It will need to be tuned again, as I loosened the keys a bit for shipping purposes. The assorted pictures describe it very accurately for you and the general description below. Note: The general description (below) is borrowed. The employee at the guitar store referred me to this online description saying it describes this parlor guitar not what is stamped on the inside: "Top wood: ply birch Back & sides wood: ply birch Bracing type: ladder Bridge: rosewood (1950s Harmony archtop bridge topper) Fretboard: maple Neck wood: poplar Action height at 12th fret: 3/32” bass 1/16” treble (fast, spot-on)String gauges: 52w, 40w, 30w, 22w, 16, 12 Neck shape: medium-big C Board radius: flat Neck relief: straight Fret style: medium-low Scale length: 24 3/8" Nut width: 1 11/16" Body width: 13 1/2" Body depth: 4" Weight: 4 lbs 2 oz" End of online descripton. Condition notes: The guitar itself is in very nice vintage condition. Please look at the pictures closely. The case has age-related wear and tear. I show the worst wear/tear mark in a picture. Pricing: The employee found this exact (or similar) parlor guitar online ranging in price from $120 to $150 but without the original case. My starting bid is $75 + shipping.
