Description: Vintage color 11" wide solid cardboard store sign (both sides are pictured). It says "Crisp-aire McIntosh from New York and New England Orchards" on the front with a space to write in the price. The backs says a lot of the same thing in a vertical format. The sign could be used either way.. These are from the 1960s when Crisp-aire McIntosh Apples were very popular. They came from the basement of a large store in Bethlehem,Pennsylvania called Trimble's. The store got signs with their deliveries and threw them in piles in the basement.
