Description: 1960 Vintage 53cm Bianchi Specialissima Lugged Steel Italian Road Bike w/ Campagnolo Parts Stunning Early 1960s 53cm Bianchi Specialissima 10 Speed Road Racing Bike Sky Blue Color. The Specialissima was Bianchi's Flagship Bike " The Top of the Line " Although Bianchi made all the components for their bikes, Bianchi's high end bikes were adorned with Campagnolo Racing Parts. The Serial # is on the seatpost Lug # 1608XX and from my research thats 1960 maybe 1961. The paint is Absolutely Gorgeous with Level of Excellence that rivals perfect original paint. I am painter and I had the hardest time discerning original paint or repaint, but the look is too good to be true so had figure it was repainted. The Bike measures 51.5cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube or 53cm Center to Top of the top tube. The top tube is 53cm center to center with a 110mm tall headtube. This is a Smaller bike with approximately a 31" stand over. The Frame and Fork are Columbus Steel Tubing with Campagnolo drop outs. The bike Adorned with Mostly NOS Parts: Campagnolo Strada Nuovo Record "First Version", Gran Sport Derailleurs, Shifters & Cable Guides, High Flange Campagnolo Hubs "Pre Record Stamping", Yellow Label Fiamme Rims, Campy Record Pedals, and Universal Model 61 Brakes and Levers.
