1960 Gretsch Double Anniversary Vintage Electric Guitar w/ Bigsby

Description: Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary in excellent condition. I purchased this guitar from the Hollywood Guitar Center Vintage Room 15 years ago. It plays and sounds fantastic. Color: 2-tone smoked green The instrument is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The electronics are in excellent working order. I was told at Guitar Center that the back and sides had been repainted. Its an excellent job of color-matching. There are only faint marks to the finish on the body. A small chip in the paint on the neck can be seen in the pictures. The frets are in good condition with minimal wear. It has a 24 1/2" scale length, fully hollow maple laminate body with F-holes. Bound top and back Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece Gretsch Roller bridge Lucite pickguard with Gretsch logo. Filter-Tron pickups Dedicated volume and tone controls, master tone control. 3-way pickup selector switch 3-way tone selector switch 21 frets Schaller tuners (upgrade from original) Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with pearl inlaid "Thumbnail" fret markers Pearl inlaid Gretsch "Roof T" headstock logo, "Anniversary Model" badge on headstock Serial Number is in the 38xxx series. The guitar includes the original hard-shell case which is of higher quality than todays guitar cases. The case is in very good condition with a few marks collected over the last 64 years. The latches all work. The fabric covering the case has a classic mid-century design. The guitar will be properly packed with care prior to shipment.
