First edition. Second Series No CXIII of Works issued by The Hakluyt Society. This is the first full account of the voyage of Edward Fenton, who set out in 1582 on a privateering voyage to sail round the Cape of Good Hope to the Moluccas and China, but he got no further than Portuguese Brazil. This book includes 15 full-page plates, 2 sketch maps, and 4 in-text figures.Blue cloth boards with a blind stamped border design and a gilt illustration of the ship Victoria protected by a price unclipped dust jacket and clear plastic wrapper. Gilt lettering on the spine. Light foxing to front endpapers.
