He would later go on to be perhaps the most famous basket player the State of Oregon ever produced. Mel would go on to play for the Boston Celtics and was on 2 of the Celtics NBA Championship Teams. Photo # 9, shows Roger Ellis, a Senior carrying out a bag of Potatoes from McKay's Market. Also shown at the Morning Fresh Bakery are Eddie Gray and Gary Van Landingham. Gary also sang in the school group called the Beachcombers. Photo # 10 shows Seniors, Kristi Atchison and Diane Kingsley on the lawn at the Georgia Pacific Lumber Plant at Bunker Hill.
