Bob Considine, (right) International News Service reporter and columnist, tonight was named as "America's Outstanding Newsman" by The Thirty Club, an organization of former editorial employees of the late Washington Times-Herald. Considine received an ivory typewriter, which had inscribed on the side, "on the line," (the name of his column) from Mr. Joseph Holman, one of the men who helped Mr. Considine at the start of his career and who was selected to represent all the Old Times-Herald people at the presentation.
