Description: EXTREMELY RARE 1958 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME PROGRAM for a game between the ABILENE EAGLES and the ODESSA BRONCHOS. This game was played on November 7, 1958 at Eagle Stadium in Abilene, Texas. Odessa was coached by HAYDEN FRY, who went on to become a legendary Hall-of-Fame Coach for the IOWA HAWKEYES and SMU MUSTANGS. ABILENE was coached by the legendary Texas Sports Hall-of-Famer CHUCK MOSER, who led Abilene to consecutive state championships in 1954, 1955, and 1956 and a 49 game winning streak. Abilene was voted "Team of the Century". Abilene was led by All-State End DAVID PARKS, who went on to become an All-American for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and an NFL All-Pro.
