Description: 57-64 CHEVROLET EXHAUST MANIFOLD CHOKE TUBE A new stainless steel exhaust manifold choke tube for a 1957-1964 Chevy. This tube is used in 8 Cylinder rams horn style exhaust manifolds and goes directly thru the manifold. The choke works by the temperature of air that the exhaust heats. The exhaust itself does not go up to the carburetor. This tube goes in the top of the manifold and runs straight thru and out the bottom. Air comes in this tube from the bottom, is heated by the exhaust flowing around it. The tube running to the carburetor fits into this tube. If you have exhaust coming out the choke tube hole in the manifold, the tube needs replaced.
