Description: Hard to find mid 1950s Dunlop rod brake type 26" x 1 3/8" wheel set! 32 hole front with Sturmey Archer hub. 40 hole rear with 1955 dated Sturmey Archer AW 3 speed freewheel hub. 1/2" x 18 tooth cog. Stainless steel spokes. Chrome is fair with some areas of corrosion from brake wear but otherwise presentable for an original condition bicycle. These spin true and the three speed is functional. Both hubs are a bit sticky and should be torn down for servicing. Please see my other listings for more parts available from this cool bicycle!
