Description: Please note I am not an expert on oil cans at all , so all this information is just my opinion you'll have to be the judge of this fantastic collectors item for yourself.. I found this item on the east coast of the United States, and this is exactly the way I found it, I did not try to clean it up in any way whatsoever. The can says it's a LUBRICATING OIL, GENERAL PURPOSE LOW TEMPERATURE MIL-L-7870A 9150-263-3490 LEHIGH CHEMICAL PRODUCTS COMPANY CHESTERTOWN, MARYLAND JAN., 1955 246 ASP-10676 L-407 ONE U.S. QUART, which is super cool it gives you a lot of information regarding this can. now this is a USED can , and it is MISSING THE TOP, it does have a dent in the back ,it's got scratches, rust , dirt ,dents, and missing paint , but I believe this is all to be expected for as old as this can is. I think this Camp will clean up really nicely if that's what you choose to do, or you can just leave it alone and add it to a really cool collection, either way I think this is a fantastic find and I hope it goes to a great collector.... This can is approximately 7 inches Long about 4 and a half inches wide at the widest point, and approximately 2 and a half inches thick .
