Description: I have here for sale a book entitled THE MASQUE OF COMUS The Poem by JOHN MILTON with a Preface by Mark Van Doren & THE AIRS by HENRY LAWES with a Preface by Hubert Foss Illustrated with Water-Colours by EDMUND DULAC printed for The Heritage Press at the University Press, Cambridge, undated, but online research indicates 1955. The book ends with Five Songs of musical notation. This book is beautifully illustrated with 6 full-page colour plates by Edmund Dulac. Quarter bound in black cloth on marbled paper covered boards protected by a card slipcase. Some fading around the edges of the slipcase. Gilt lettering on the spine and title page in blue and black. Blue top page edge. All pages are tight and clean and the book is in near fine condition. 57 pages, plus 12 pages of music. 27.5 cm x 19.5 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.
