Description: This is a nice lot of 3 1950’s “Life” and “Saturday Evening Post” full magazines with of the era’s most iconic Major League baseball players on the cover. The first is an April 8, 1958, Life” magazine with the Giants HOF’er, Willie Mays , in the cover with a feature story on the inside of the Giants and Dodgers move from NY to California. This one is not in as good condition as the Post one but still very collectible. The second one is a July 1, 1958 “Life” magazine with Roy Campanella of the Brooklyn dodgers on the cover with a future story chronicling his lengthy recovery from his injuries sustained in a tragic car accident. This one is in a little better condition than the Mays cover but still not as nice as the Musial. The last one is May 1st, 1954 Saturday Evening Post with Stan Musial of the St. Lois Cardinals on the cover. It is in excellent condition and in the best condition of the 3 magazines. All 3 are filled with numerous beautiful and iconic ads of the day in the mid to late 50’s. See pictures. Get all 3 at my bargain price.
