Description: For sale is a super cool 1954-S Lincoln Wheat Cent graded and certified by PCGS as MS-66+ RD, which is incredibly high for this coin. The "RD" in the grade stands for "RED" referring to the patina color of the coin. As for the "+" mark, that means the grade is actually higher than MS-66, but doesn't quite get to MS-67. So it would be 66.5 grade, if there were such a thing. Grades with "+" marks after them actually sell for high premiums. MS-66 is an incredibly high grade for this coin as it is. In fact the higher grade a 1954-S has ever achieved is MS-68, and that coin is worth $ 7,500! That gives you an idea of how scarce MS-66+ is for this coin.As you can see from the pics the coin is in amazing shape, as its MS-66+ RD grade would suggest. The coin has a nice bright red color to it with tons of luster, and all details on the coin are nice and bold. All of the tiny lines on a wheat ears on the reverse and clear and separate, which are usually the first thing to wear down on these coins. The coin has no major blemishes, and what's best is it is already graded and certified by PCGS, giving you confidence in its grade. I do have multiple coins available in the exact same grade and condition if you were interested in buying more than one. I always give discounts for multiple quantities and always combine shipping. If you buy only one you will receive the coin in the pics. This is a must-have rare coin for any collection. Thanks!
