Description: Very scarce Baseball Magazine Premium designated as M114. Baseball Magazine offered send away posters almost every year from 1910 to 1957 when they went out of business. Ty Cobb was one of the original 4 players offered in 1910 and that pose and poster was available until 1914 when the pose was updated. In 1954 B.B. Magazine moved their offices from New York City to Washington D.C.and the notation on their posters changed. They also reverted the Ty Cobb back to its original pose. The number of posters sold after their relocation fell dramatically, ( by all accounts), making posters sent out from 54' to 57' extremely hard to find. This Cobb is in very good to ex. shape ( hard to see wear upper right corner) and very hard to come by. A rare premium of a legendary ball player , with " Published by Baseball Magazine, Washington 5, D.C." printed in the lower border.
