Description: M114s ( and M113s) are the designation for the baseball posters Baseball Magazine starting offering in 1910. The series continued into 1957. In 1954 the company moved from New York City to Washington D.C. Their sales were in decline and as an effect the sale of their buy by mail posters was rapidly declining... Stan Musial was originally offered in 1943, his rookie year. That premium remained for sale ( same pose, same captions) until 1954. That was a classic batting pose. After the move, they reissued the Musial in this portrait like pose and denoted the location change to Washington in the bottom left margin. This Musial in this pose was available for only a run from '54 thru '57 amid rapidly declining response. It is extremely scare and in excellent shape--- 8 1/2" x 11", untrimmed with a clean back. I should add-- one of the few Musials availablethat are actually produced from 1953 ( color Bowman), until 1958 ( Topps All Star card) --(-unless you count Topps team cards )-- Vintage, rare, great display item---no other on Ebay.. free shipping
