Bogert procured some 170 snakes, lizards, and toads in his two-month expedition to the Chisos Mountains in Texas; Chihuahua, Mexico; and the Chiricahua Mountains in Arizona, for the department's research on the behavior of the creatures in relation to their body heat.Photo measures 9 x 7inches.
