Description: This is a 5.75" x 8 7/8", multi-page, paper booklet promoting the 1952 democrat presidential candidates, Adlai Stevenson and John Sparkman with lots of interesting photos. They had the unenviable task of running against republicans Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon, when pretty much when everyone out there liked Ike. These guys got their clocks cleaned. (We're also listing a bio booklet for the 1956 democrat ticket of Stevenson and Kefauver, too, our item 305620812394.) If you notice, there are no family photos of Stevenson with his wife - the mother of his three sons - in this or the other example like his running-mates have. That's because they had gotten a divorce in 1949. Perhaps this was an issue for some voters during those two elections, but his wife had manifested a progression of mental illness over the years which (unfortunately) wasn't even recognized as such during that time. This is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we don't. We do so by issuing a refund for any overpayment. Shipping on this will be $5.50, carefully packed with tracking. 9011
