Description: For sale is a vintage two-volume set of Geomagnetism by Chapman & Bartels, published in 1951 as lithographic reprints from the 1940 first edition, Clarendon Press, Oxford, UK. Good overall condition as shown with a few detractors to be aware of; ex-libris copies with name of previous owner in multiple places (page edges and in pen on flyleaf pages). Some wear and soiling to covers including a few minor moisture swells on the second volume. Binding is good overall, covers are a bit loose at hinges and there are some breaks at covers with some mesh visible (back cover for volume I and both covers for volume II).
