Description: Circa 1951-54, Alonzo Perry, Licey Tigers Dominican Republic and Mexican League Star, Original Vintage 1 Photo Measuring 3.25" x 4.75". Perry was a great hitter and played first base and also was a pitcher. He won the Triple Crown in 1956 in the Mexican League and his stats are ranked with the greatest Negro League stars. Crystal clear high gloss image but has sever creasing on both the left and right sides and a diagonal crease that runs from the left side through his left shoulder and right below the "L" in his cap. There are two Oct. 24, 1980 date stamps on the reverse but those are when the photo was republished for some type of article.
