Description: 1950's Taiwanese Republic of China (ROC) large heavy porcelain landscape vase. Small crack to the outside bottom of the foot rim, almost unnoticeable. Beautiful hard paste, polychrome underglaze, showing a monk meditating on a small plateau surrounded by towering mountain ranges with waterfall. The robins egg blue, Persian turquoise color, is stunningly beautiful and adds to the tranquility of the scenery, definitely gives off good zen. Very few of this quality made. Weighs approximately 38 pounds, height 35" ,largest diameter 15", 10 1/2" at the mouth. I use to own an antique store until I sold the building years back. Finally deciding to part with some items.
