Classic figural depictions of the ever-popular "peanut pitch man". This set was an early Planters Peanuts mail premium. Rim of top hat reads MR. PEANUT. Base reads PLANTERS on the front and MADE IN U.S.A. on the back. The top hat holes are in the shape of the letters S and P. Plastic plugs on the bottom are stamped PYRO Made in U.S.A. Well-made & attractive with good likenesses. Condition on both is considered GOOD to FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain wear. Moderate paint chipping/scuffing with no plastic cracks or chips apparent. Overall, despite defects, we feel these shakers are very displayable by most standards (see photos).
