Description: This is a 1950's Mexican Ex Voto Painted on Tin, depicting two people on a sail boat on the right side,and two small people praying bed ridden woman on the left side. Above this scene is the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos. The text underneath is faint but dedicates this retablo to the Virgen for providing a miracle. The boat is not a common subject in retablos and makes this a very curious piece. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 10 1/8"Width: 7" Condition: In good age related condition, with some losses and scratches to the surface, but overall in very presentable condition.
