1950s LAMB Chops Roast Butcher Shop Meat Poster Atomic Age Sheep Council Vintage

Description: This is an original vintage c.1950s butcher shop advertising poster issued by The American Sheep Producers Council. This poster has large color photos illustrating delicious looking Lamb Shoulder Roast and Lamb Shoulder Chops with the title: LAMB – Easy Fixing…Delicious Eating…Economical, too! Also shown is a small inset illustration of an idealized June Cleaveresque housewife presenting a large platter of perfectly prepared lamb chops to her obviously pleased pipe smoking husband. The lower right hand corner has a photo and endorsement of Paula Owen, Chief Home Economist of the American Sheep Producers Council. This poster is printed one side only measuring about 24” x 18” and is folded as issued. This poster is a vintage Atomic Age original which I think dates to the mid 1950s although I don’t find a date. There is some toning to the paper from age and a couple small spots but I don’t think the poster was ever used and overall condition is very good. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
