Description: 15cm by 10cm Postcard featuring Stuttgart Stadium and the message ' Gruss aus Stuttgart, Von der Deutschen Fussballmeisterschaft 1949 ' which translates as ' Greetings from Stuttgart and the German Football Championships '. As shown there is a very interesting message to the reverse stating the Final was between VfR Mannheim and Borussia Dortmund but as an American even if they could get a ticket they were not allowed to attend. It was sent to a presumably German lady who lived in the American Zone of Bayern so has a Historical interest as well as a Football one. There is a small crease to the lower right hand corner tip and some slight general wear to the other corners as shown. OVERSEAS BUYERS....
