Description: Offered is a vintage 1951 Advertising postcard (dated as per No located in stamp box) for Dr Posner's Shoes Children, specifically its "Junior Bootery" line ... the smart company kept its name and face in front of the consumers (parents) by sending Birthday Greetings to their young customers (the kids who wore the shoes). The PCs were used by the various vendors that carried the Dr Posner line of shoes. PC from the Curt Teich "C T Art-Colortone" Series. Probably the Rarest of the Dr Posner PCs. Here you have it in Mint "as new" condition. * PC "new" to extent it is New Old Stock, has not been used in any manner, and remains in MINT condition. This pristine postcard comes from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
